Michael Hilb is Vice President, Group Strategy and Digital Business at DKSH, a USD 10 bn market expansion services provider with focus on Asia, overseeing the international Digital Business operations in addition to the company's Digital Platform, Group Strategy, Business Excellence, Business Transformation, Business Innovation, Business Analytics and CEO Office functions. He joined the company in 2010 after five years with an international strategy consultancy and working for a multinational construction materials group.

Michael is Titular Professor at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland, and lectures strategy, entrepreneurship, business development, digital governance and Sino-European partnership strategies at universities in Europe and Asia. He was Fellow at Harvard University and Visiting Research Fellow at INSEAD in France and Singapore where he conducted research on innovation and entrepreneurial strategy.

He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Board Foundation, a not-for-profit organization committed to advancing the state of corporate governance research, practice, and education, and a member of the Advisory Board of Code_toGo, an educational platform for the development of future digital leaders.

Michael studied business at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, the Stockholm School of Economics and the University of St. Gallen, where he graduated with an MSc and a PhD in Management and a CAS in Board Effectiveness. He completed executive education programs at IMD and Harvard Business School.
